In an exhibition match yesterday (11-August’17) in The International 2017, an AI developed by the team at OpenAI has defeated Dendi , a champion pro-gamer in 1v1 match. In the best of 3 encounter, the AI won comprehensively by 2-0. It has also been revealed that the bot remains undefeated against SumaiL (the top 1v1 player in the world) and Arteezy (Top overall player in the world).
